quickly now...
sunday: horrible, horrible day. the horror of horrors that was salisbury and stonehenge. went to the coach station, found out the bus to cardiff was full and spontaneously decided to go to salisbury. huge problems with bus tickets because of incompetent drivers, closed travel offices and unhelpful national express people. so the entire day was spent worrying about how we would get home, and we were upset all day and didn't enjoy anything. if we had known that it would turn out okay, then it would have been a bit better. but everything we did seemed to be met with an obstacle of some kind. very frustrating. oh, and to top it all off, this weird drunk guy kept on hanging around us at the bus stop and shushing pigeons so that he could lead us in a sing-along, before sneaking onto our bus and running away without paying after it arrived at its destination. in the end, our luck finally changed and we managed to get home without spending more money, and now we can look back on it and laugh. but during that day, everything was awful and there was nothing that could cheer us up.
yesterday: went in the gross weather to highgate cemetery to check out the graves of famous people like karl marx.
whoops, class starts in about 5 minutes. i'll finish this later....
