last night we had our second themed dinner party, which was "fiesta night." i thought it would be a huge bust, but it turned out really well and we had enough food. we made tacos and quesadillas, and i made guacamole from scratch. meredith and will, those crazy kids, even went so far as to make a pinata. it was rather damp and soft, and we didn't really know how to hang it up, but it's the effort that counts. mv called in the middle and said, "you guys are crazy. it's a tuesday night." but i guess that's what this experience is all about, having as much fun as possible and doing new things.
