hola! today has been pretty busy since a bunch of us are trying to make plans for reading week, which is the second week in november. but now we've booked our flights and everything, so it seems that we're really going to travel! we're starting out in rome, then taking the train to venice, then flying to brussels. it's a lot to do in one week, but we want to get in as much as possible. we're probably going to be staying in hostels, but we should be safe enough since we're traveling with two guys, one of which is on the rugby team :)

tonight is the much-anticipated stirfry night, when i will be cooking for 8-10 people, the majority of which will be guys who eat a lot. i just hope i don't mess it up. meredith and i made potato soup on monday and a whole bunch of people came over, so that's how this whole dinner party thing started. i really like cooking though, so i don't really mind (i made chicken soup for a sick meredith yesterday from scratch). but if those boys think that they're going to be mooching from us every time, they've got another think coming (is that even an expression? whatever.).
