my aunt and manuel went to the us this morning, which means that after a summer of living together, i'm not going to see them for a whole month! and i won't even be living here when they get back. and he's going to grow up so much in a month. i guess i have to let my family spend some time with him since i got to do that for two whole months.

since i finished working, i've just been relaxing, reading, and going to baby play groups. manuel has more friends than i do now. the kids play so well together, and manuel's a very good sport about everything. yesterday this kid joshua was deliberately dropping sand onto manuel's face, and he just let him do it. i think he enjoys getting sand everywhere.

i bought really cheap train tickets to paris, though my mom thinks that i probably messed up and bought standing tickets. but it seems fine. so it's paris for a week, and then back to london for another week before school starts. wow, that sounds fabulous, doesn't it? but i'm not taking it for granted, i swear. i do love to sit around, but i am getting out and i feel very comfortable here. going back to school will take some getting used to though.
