i feel the earth move

i experienced my first earthquake! last night, as i was drifting off to sleep, at precisely 1am i was jolted awake when my bed started shaking. i heard everything in my room rattling as it vibrated, but before i could jump out of bed to get under a doorway, it stopped. it was kind of exciting, and i'm pretty sure i didn't dream it.
