covered in bruises and bug bites

week one at home has passed, and it was lovely, much more relaxing than any destination vacation. i've only been to the river house a handful of times, so it was great to have several days to hang out on the water.

some highlights...



maryland crab: the best there is, in my opinion.


photographic evidence that mv and i know how to wakeboard! we can also go in and out of the wake! falling on the wakeboard is much more painful than when you're on skis. mv almost got a concussion when she face-planted, and the board hit me in the leg so hard that it actually left a dent in my shin. but it's still really fun.


we also convinced our parents to go water-skiing. my mom hadn't gone in 30 years!


mv's BFF auddie (15 years her junior) stayed with us for most of the week. they're bringing friendship bracelets back in style.


picabo came to annapolis with us and was somewhat well-behaved.


ice cream! picabo even got his own peanut butter doggy frozen yogurt :)
