random acts of vandalism

i was going to do a nice long post about last week, which was lovely, but now i'm in a vile mood. i came out to my car this morning and found that it was a victim of a rampage last night. apparently someone took either their vehicle or a baseball bat to a bunch of cars on our street, because there were huge dents and knocked-off mirrors on the cars around me. my sideview mirror was dangling by its wires. i hate this town. i hate people. people are idiots.

in other happier news:
- my sister got her master's in music education. congrats mv! we went to boulder and had a wonderful time there. the more time i spend in boulder, the more i like it. if this film thing fails, i'll move there and open up a bakery.
- we went on hiatus for the movie, but most likely that means that my bosses won't be coming back because they'll be looking for other jobs. so we kind of wrapped up there, but who knows, we might go back to work after the reshoots if we're not employed elsewhere.
- my bosses gave me a PSP as a thank-you gift. WHAT??
- my unemployment stint was brief, since i got a call last friday for a gig that started on monday. i'm just helping them out this week, because i'm going to chicago next week, so i will get my vacation!
- congrats to my parents, who celebrate their 30th anniversary today!!

now i'm going to look at funny pictures of animals on cuteoverload.com to cheer me up.
