where is the sun?

things i'm loving right now:

- finally getting a full weekend off! we added up the number of days we've gotten off since jan. 1, and before this weekend, it was only FIVE. that's insane.
- tina! it's actually been YEARS since i've seen her, but she's in town on vacation! so yesterday i got to hang out with her, and we spent the afternoon doing what the nguyens do best (eating, shopping, and talking non-stop).
- the "rockabye baby" music series that i stumbled across at hear music. these are lullaby covers of rock songs, and some may think it's sacrilege, but i think it's so cool for babies! how else are they going to listen to led zeppelin or nine inch nails?
- playing brain games on ross's nintendo ds
- matt and i went to see "the lives of others" at the arclight on saturday. it's nice to see a movie that doesn't rely on visual effects, gore, or other flashiness to impress people. a well-made film with a compelling story is all you need.
