living for the weekend

what a lovely four-day weekend. i had a fabulous visit in boulder, enjoying quality time with the family and with these guys...

i brought the house dvd screener to share with mv, which turned out to be a (great) mistake because she soon became obsessed. we rented a couple of the first season dvds and watched 13 episodes in less than two and a half days. crazy. but i will never get sick of that show.

oh yeah, we also did some shopping, saw "the devil wears prada," and ate A LOT of cake. but house was the main feature of the weekend. we did manage to tear ourselves away long enough to go to dave 'n buster's since i had never been and NO ONE will play DDR with me in LA. fun times!

Dance Dance Revolution! how asian of us. unacceptable.

awful. just awful.

yesterday i got back in time to go and see the culver city fireworks. i love that moment when the first firework goes off and everyone in the crowd collectively (and unintentionally) oohs and aahs, though they've seen hundreds of fireworks in their lives. we're still such kids. i love it.

now it's back to work for everyone, but at least it's only three days until the weekend!
