rock your socks

- since my job is less stressful, mer has pointed out that "the old thuy" has returned. meaning that i spend all my free time baking, cooking, and/or cleaning the kitchen. the other day i was wearing an apron. awesome.

- yesterday, mer, robert (who's in LA for the summer!), and i went to visit ross at work, since they were showing "the goonies" in the park that he works in. we even brought a picnic, including pasta salad, french bread with brie, and homemade "dirt." how summery! i think we're giving robert the wrong impression of LA, and soon he'll realize that we're not this fun all the time.

- the rest of my weekend included some alone time at the beach, ballet class, and the LACMA with meryl. pretty chill and all good.

- starting in july, mer and i will start looking for a new apartment. exciting! i'm kind of looking forward to a change of location, but our place is pretty sweet, and if matt ends up moving to LA into rachel's room, we might just stay here. MATT, are you reading this??? are you moving here?? come on, it will be so fun!!!
