tied up too tight

- i'm on imdb! wow!

- being the nerds that we are, a bunch of us were really involved in google's "da vinci code quest." i managed to be one of the 10,000 finalists for the last challenge, so i got a replica cryptex in the mail that showed me how to access the final five tests. since it was a time trial, we figured more heads were better than one, so ross, becky, and mo came over to help (and eat vegetable lasagna). in some ways it was better to have more people, but in others, too many cooks spoiled the soup. but it was a lot of fun, even with all the stress. my stomach was tied up in knots, ross was actually shaking because he got so into it, and we were all smushed into a corner of my room staring and swearing at my computer. ross, being the super-competitive optimist that he is, predicted that we would finish the challenge in 10 minutes. but it was much harder than we expected, and we completed it in 50. needless to say, we didn't win, but it was a good time.

- so i started my tenacious d job last week. it's a PA job like on X3, but i'm definitely working a lot harder. the movie is on a smaller scale, which can be nice, but on the other hand, they can't afford another PA, so i feel like i'm doing the work of about 3 people. i get hands-on experience with film (making leaders, syncing dailies), which is awesome, but i still also have to do deliveries/pickups all over hollywood, get food, and do office and grocery runs. more work, less money, but oh well. it's a good experience!

- i'm going to wisconsin this weekend for nicole's wedding. i'm really excited for the long weekend, and to see my family! let's not think about the fact that mv and i have to sing.

- house get shot?!!? so pumped for the season finale this week!
