i cannot express how excited i am, except with a long string of "e"s. after finally getting confirmation that we're getting sunday off, i bought a ticket to visit mv in boulder! it'll only be from saturday night to monday morning, and it's expensive and probably will be a hassle, but it will be sooooo worth it. what with working for 35 days straight, not seeing my family for over three months, my roommates being out of town, and all the personal drama that has been going on, i really needed this.

by the way, thanks to everyone who let me talk their ears off about all this stuff for the past week. and thanks for not judging me during my occasional meltdowns. breakups have a tendency to do that to a person. i'm basically fine now, and i will be even better with time, since i know now that it was the right thing to do. i promise i will try to stop whining to anyone who will listen, because i know everyone's getting sick of it. i have to think that all in all, my life is good. i have great job(s), lovely friends, and wonderful family. and even though i'm losing a boyfriend, i'm keeping a longtime friend.

and in all seriousness, i can't complain about my life when right now people i love are being put in jeopardy in places like chad and vietnam, while i am safe and secure. i really will try to stop agonizing over everything, because i don't want to be self-centered. if any of you ever get a chance, let's set up a phone chat so that we can catch up! love you all.
