earthquakes and sharks

- things are actually picking up at work. there are more runs and meetings, and my bosses have started giving me projects to keep me occupied. i'm helping cut a somewhat clean, tv version of the movie, which has proven to be very difficult, given tenacious d's sense of humor. i'm also learning how to build actual film reels. my boss gave me a list of cuts for a deleted scene, and i went about assembling it on film from the raw footage. it's fun to work with the real film, and i like working with my hands, though now my fingers are all sore from splicing.

- i get the monday before july 4th off, which means i get a four-day weekend! so i'm going to boulder for FOUR days! much better than that 24-hr trip in april.

oops, just got another project to do... it's good to be busy for once!
