and as for mutual ex-boyfriends
they're most fun to share with you

we have our anglophilia
and our love for turkey legs
and dancing to "some kind of wonderful"
when Fitt plays at the Keg

there's no bonding more poignant
than that over gingerbread
or spinning in a teacup
'till we both wish we were dead

and though you get beligerant
with 21st birthday shots
you can't deny the fun
in building badass robots

you make the best mix tapes
of anyone in town
I associate you with Enrique's "Escape"
blasting with the windows down

and though we may get bored
watching stupid Russian plays
there's no denying our Harry Potter
teaser/trailer craze

we've shared graduation dinners
and pool parties in the rain
we've shared our discontent
when Avid is a pain

although I must admit
that I want to steal your car
I guess I'll have to settle for
a pre-exec. Dove Bar

and whether it's Fantasmic
or the Santa Monica Pier
I'm glad we got to share those times
together this past year

and so I guess that does it
my counting now is through
22 great reasons
why I'm so glad you're you!!!
