here are some photos from above of LA:
ross, mer and me on mulholland drive (blurry because we couldn't use the flash)...

... and meryl and me at the getty center, getting some culture.

in other news, i'm down from three jobs to just one. being partially umemployed is great, i love having five-day weekends, but i'm sure it'll start to get a little boring. the documentary's still going, but it should be done within a month or so. they might have another project coming up for me, which they will actually pay me for, but i'm still looking for some other jobs that can get me that all-important paycheck. i've also agreed to do some animated webisodes for jake and dan (nstv alums), so that should be fun and good practice. who knows, i might just fall into this animating thing by chance. i'm really glad i took that computer animation class at school, i just wish i had had room in my schedule for the 3D one. and before you say anything, yeah, working at pixar should be a snap, since i'm sure they don't have people breaking down their doors everyday asking for jobs. maybe someday though...
it's officially autumn here now. it's rained for the past three days (huge thunderstorms last night and today), rachel's made pumpkin bread, and i've been breaking out the hot cider. i miss seeing the leaves change color and feeling the crispness of the fall air, but i'm going home for thanksgiving in a month! can't wait!
