we're NOT living in a box on the street

meredith, rachel and i have moved into our apartment! i love it; it's huge, fully equipped, and in a great location. and not only that, but it's also my first apartment! i'm so excited to be kinda grownup. lately, we've been crazy-busy getting it set up, since i'm the only one who's gotten furniture (or a bed, for that matter). but somehow, in the past couple days, i've gotten two jobs! one is freelancing for this post-production house in santa monica for a couple days, but it's really just a trial period to see if they want to hire me permanently. the second one is with a startup production company, whose main project at the moment is this sketch comedy show that needs to be edited. sounds perfect, right? it's non-paying, but it'll be good for making contacts, and i'll get some editing practice. that starts tomorrow, so it looks like my vacation will officially be over. but the excitement of apartment-living will take a while to die down, so i'm not sad yet.

mer, rachel and i are going to have so much fun; i won't need this. :)
