besides a lot of sitting and reading on the beach, here's what i've been doing in the past couple days:

- accidentally ramming a honu sea turtle in the butt with a kayak
- running along the coast (the first physical activity i've done in three months) with enrique and the top gun theme playing in my ears
- driving in the rental car convertible under the most star-filled sky, listening to "across the universe"
- finally learning how to snorkel properly, then laughing my ass off when mv freaked out after a turtle popped up behind her

what a crazy life. and tomorrow we're going on a HELICOPTER tour of the island! but since this is the last vacation before i start work in the real world, we might as well make it spectacular. aloha!
