we are the luckiest.

on monday, mv and i took zippy from evanston back to virginia, singing songs at the top of our lungs for the entire 12-hour trip. the next day, we immediately went to crownsville to check out the new place that we had heard so much about. and we were not disappointed. the house is lovely, but the best parts are the decks and docks and river. mv kept on saying, "this. is. so. AWESOME! we are so spoiled!" there's nothing much in the house yet, but we can't wait until it's furnished and we can stay there. i'll have to find time to come back to the east coast and visit more often.
