we went surfing again today, but this time, we brought our dad along. of course, he rode all the way to shore on his first try and quickly established himself as a pro. too bad we never inherited his athletic ability. anyway, it was fun today because the waves were bigger, but we were in a huge crowd because of the group lessons, so it was rather dangerous. i can't count the number of times when i almost decapitated someone or was almost killed myself. i had a shorter board today, which was easier to paddle and turn, but also much harder to balance on, so i think i did worse today than on saturday. but whatever, i still enjoyed myself. there was a photographer out there with us, so here are some much better pics than before...
