you like it? you love it.

- this was our last official weekend of shooting. thank god. but it wasn't easy. it seems that the forces that control weather, airplanes, and general annoyances weren't on our side this week. we dealt with everything, including obnoxious middleschoolers, crazy stoner alternative storeowners, buzzsaws, rain, sleet, wind, hail, insurance issues, actors with food poisoning, and running out of tape. but eventually everything got done, and after tomorrow's morning shoot and pickups next week, we will REALLY be done with shooting. and i hope that i will never have to be on set again. i enjoy it when i'm with nstv, but if i wasn't with entertaining people, then the stress and tedium would really get to me. i'm ready to just sit back in the editing room and let the footage come to me.

- some unresolved issues from last year were finally worked out this week. now i feel like i have been relieved from the huge weight that was keeping me down. hope i can stay on the up and up, though only time will tell (let's see how many cliches i can fit in one entry). i'm not expecting the world, but i'm content now, and that's all i really need.

- going to LA tomorrow for a whole week. i feel really bad about missing out on nstv stuff, especially since the premiere is in less than a month, but my mom insists that i go out and make contacts before i have to move there. i have a few informational interviews set up, but not much else. most likely i'll be wandering around town in my cousin's car, hassling studio HR people, and then getting lost in compton or something. but on the bright side, i will get to see jake and lindsey, and hopefully one of the contacts that i make will lead to a job offer. plus, i'll get a nice vacation from this hellish chicago weather. warmth and sun, here i come!
