- after logging footage today and seeing myself in a cameo, i have once again determined that i do NOT belong in front of a camera. i have also determined that i am twice the size that i was in high school. time to go back to the gym and/or dance class.

- tonight, we went to the "tourgasm" comedy show with dane cook. some of it was good, some incredibly offensive, but i did laugh until tears came. i liked dane cook's way with words (he described a guy with "a jubilee of pens in his pocket"), and his physicality. but the best part was when he said something about him being naked, which ellicited cheers and catcalls from a bunch of shrill girls, and he replied, "thanks... sluts." he calls it like he sees it, and i loved it.

- i'm going home just for a day on thursday, to start bringing winter stuff home and bring spring stuff back. plus, i get to see the dog :) i'd better savor my time in virginia, because it looks like as soon as i move out, my parents are moving to a smaller place. they just looked at this place in annapolis on the water, and they're in love with it. it's gorgeous, but of course i'd be sad for our family to finally leave great falls. it will be weird for it not to be home to me anymore. my goal for the future is to become successful enough so that i can work anywhere, so i can live in a place like great falls instead of LA.

- i'm going to the field museum tomorrow with mer, in the hopes of preventing brain atrophy. this'll be the first time, so i'm excited. i used to love going to the museums in dc, especially the museum of american history (with the first lady dress exhibit), the museum of natural history (with the taxidermy and gem collection), and the ghettotastic children's museum (which had the sad "bubble room" and smelled like tortillas and wax).
