well, i've been sitting at home for a few days now, so i figured it was time to update...

- finals were nothing special, though i did lose a lot of sleep and weight for only having one project (animation), one paper (european cinema), and one test (econ). i was confident that i had totally screwed up my econ final, but thanks to a wonderful thing called the bell curve, instead of getting a C, i somehow got an A! phew.
- now that i'm at home, i'm just sitting around, running errands, catching up on sleep and christmas shopping. you all know that i'm a gift-giving freak, but this year, you can rest easy and not worry about having to makeup for my craziness. because you get nothing this year! i haven't had time this winter to get presents for anyone besides my family. i told meredith this and she was quite relieved. so sorry guys, no personalized paintings or painstakingly-thought-out gifts this christmas.
- mv is looking for a house to buy in boulder. now THAT'S grownup. my favorite place so far is the one above a bakery. i would love that for when i visit.
- i went to ballet class at my old studio today. i haven't danced there in four years, and i felt like an old woman, trying to keep up with the high-schoolers.
- mv and i are tagging along with our mom to new york on the 22nd for two days, since she's going for work and we haven't been in three years. we're going to see "wicked" (suz!) and finish up our christmas shopping (probably buying gifts for ourselves along the way). i can't wait! i love cities at holiday time.
