besides nstv, nothing much is going on right now, so in order to have SOMETHING to post, i will now list the songs on my ipod that i can't get enough of at the moment, like those celebrity playlists on itunes...
- "la la," ashlee simpson: don't laugh. but this is the only song of hers that i like, because it's so darn catchy.
- "don't worry baby," the beach boys: such a good pick-me-up, and it reminds me of michael vartan in "never been kissed." mmm....
- "top of the world," the dixie chicks - so pretty and sad.
- "a little less conversation (jxl remix)," elvis presley - my favorite from freshman year has been resurrected. i loved the music video for this song, it always gets me pumped.
- "have yourself a merry little christmas," judy garland - it's never too early to start listening to christmas carols. and this one is gorgeous.
- "sweet child o' mine," guns 'n roses - almost forgot this one. came off the random guns 'n roses cd that ended up in my stuff. i could listen to the beginning over and over.
- "somewhere only we know," keane - i liked this song before it played on the radio. i'm rarely ahead of the curve when it comes to music. thanks mv!
- "adagio of spartacus and phrygia," khachturian - i danced to this once. it's so dramatic!
- "diamond," klint - i used this song for my second animation project, and i still love it after listening to it for hours on end.
- "you get what you give," new radicals - another song that i love even after listening to it a sickening number of times in the editing room. it's also the theme for DM this year.
- "the way we get by," spoon - i've been influenced by meredith's o.c.-obsessed apartment.
- "love on a real train," tangerine dream - this reminds me of danceworks sophomore year, so it makes me think of running water.
- "anthem," welbilt - i love the guitar theme at the beginning (is that a riff? i don't know. i'm lame.)
i know all of this is irrelevent, but hopefully things will happen this week that are blog-worthy.
