all right, here's an update on this weekend....

saturday, tried out an indoor pool with my aunt, uncle, and cousin, which was just ok. it was so muggy and crowded, and i just felt like i was swimming in someone else's pee. there was also a rather unfortunate incident with manuel and lots of poo, but i won't go into it with you since it was really disgusting. all i'll say is that when my aunt said, "i'm going to go to the loo," manuel thought, "me too!"

on sunday, we all went to the beach! we drove around kent and stopped at a place called herne bay. people there said that there was a bit of sand on the beach, and they meant it. it was literally a wheelbarrow of sand that had been dumped on the pebbles. since we only had a blanket to protect us from the rocky ground, it was pretty uncomfortable to lie there. and i got a tiny bit of a sunburn, which i never thought would happen in england. oh, there was another unfortunate manuel incident on the way there, this one involving projectile vomit, but luckily we cleaned him up and i leaned out of the way before i got a faceful of it. i have this horrible habit of bringing out the grossness in him, ever since i first visited him when he was two months old.

yesterday, i finally finished all the posters, but i ended up staying until 6:30, since they had to be used today. at the end of the day, i was covered in spraymount adhesive, and i probably killed my lungs since the fan in the spraying room wasn't working. this week, i get to hang out in the video editing department, which should be fun, and hopefully i'll get to learn how to use the avids, so i can get some practice before next year.

that's it for now. i love maren for sending me an illustrated letter, you can expect some mail soon, hopefully i'll get around to it before the end of this week. oh, and becca and zach?!?! whoo hoo!
