hello folks, sorry i haven't been updating in a while, last week was filled with tabloids, celeb magazines, and lots of ripping. i've been making collages of the different aspects of uk culture, so i got to buy magazines (i get reimbursed by the company), and sit at my desk going through them all day. so i'm really up to date on the newest scandals. and it's amazing how many times david and victoria beckham (the famous footballer and the ex-posh spice) can appear in each magazine. there was one tabloid cover that had a picture of this guy tony martin (the main story in all the other tabloids) at the bottom, and a picture of kylie minogue and angelina jolie on the side, but the largest picture was of david beckham's head. the title? "BECKS' BAD HAIR DAY." the article was about how his hair was flying in his face during a game and he had to pull it back 18 (they counted?!?) times. and on the same page, they had a bit about how victoria was wearing really high stilettos in new york and was very wobbly on a cobble street. at one point, she had to even hold onto a car to keep herself from falling (GASP! shockhorror!).
it's been really fun. i'll be sad when i have to get back to real work.
