all right, i'd better make this quick, since i'm at work and i don't want to look like a slacker. though really, no one is around and there's a short grace period in the morning when you can do whatever you want....

- i'm in london! i got here on july 1st, started work on july 7th. my parents were here for a while and left on monday.
- i love living with my aunt and uncle, and of course, manuel is as cute as ever. he can now crawl, walk with support, and talk constantly in his own gibberish. and he's learning new things every day. he celebrated his 1st birthday this weekend, with a party of 13 babies and their parents. it was kind of nuts, but fun.
- work is fine. i'm working at an ad agency, and there are a lot of other interns my age, but i haven't really gotten to know them yet. that's mainly because the night before i started work, i got the worst attack of the stomach flu ever, and so did my uncle. i actually had to leave the orientation early because i thought i was going to pass out. i haven't ever been that sick, it was even worse than when i got a typhoid vaccination and thought that i was dying when i went back to school. anyway, i haven't done very interesting stuff at work yet (right now i'm on the comfort account, which is a fabric softener), but hopefully over the next six weeks i'll be able to do some tv stuff.
