looks like it's about time for an update....
- axo formal at the knickerbocker with my lesbian lover (meghan :D ) was great! love the room, love the dancing, love the lovely friends in pretty dresses. let's just say that katie and maren provided me with a lot of entertainment...
- last friday, i went to erin and nicole's (our old next-door neighbors) graduation from med school. i'm so impressed, finishing med school is quite a feat, and i can't believe that they're doctors now! mucho congrats to them!
- dillo day, i really wanted to go paint pottery at norris, so we did that to avoid all the craziness. hiding in the bowels of norris, listening to music and painting were definitely relaxing, which i really needed.
- meghan's been sick all weekend, and most of this week, so she's been taking it easy, and i made her stay in bed one day so i could be like her mom. thankfully, last night, after a lot of sleep, she started feeling better. now today, i have a sore throat, so i hope that i'm not getting what she had.
- tomorrow is the nstv premiere, which we've been preparing for since september! it's going to be so great, or at least i hope it will be. and my parents are coming! this week has been a flurry of publicity, with lots of flyering and our publicity stunt on tuesday. on campus, there's this guy who dresses all in green and rides around fixing people's bikes. he's the "we fix bikes" guy, and he's well-known on campus, so for our publicity stunt, we made "we break bikes" signs and destroyed two old bikes. once i got some tools, those bikes came apart really easily, since i removed basically every bolt i could find. after the bikes were taken apart as much as possible, guys just started throwing the pieces around, generating a lot of attention and noise. i felt like a bad little kid, sitting on the ground in the sun, with my hair in pigtails, singing classical music and banging a hammer against some mangled handlebars in time to the music. only in nstv... i can't wait to see the finished product tomorrow!
that's it for now, hopefully i'll have more time to update since this is the last week of class. no more world systems lectures! whoopeeee!!!!!!!
