all right, all right... at the request of my pledge kid, maren, i'm finally giving an update. and i promise i'll stick to the fun stuff, not class stuff....

friends: meghan and i are basically spending as much time as possible together, since in two months, we won't be living together anymore! she's scared about living with jake, who will probably flood the bathroom with his toiletries since he's always primping, and he'll pee on the futon. anna and i are "enjoying" our intro to the world system class, which pretty much consists of us writing down quotes from our professor georgi ("do you realize... mr. kellogg didn't have sex with his wife?"). allison is madly in love with her boyfriend jay, which makes me happy. my friends from home are doing pretty well in the boy department too! (no more bws! wow!) and soon they'll all be at home, while i still have two months of school :\

alpha chi: i'm having so much fun with my pledge family! our new additions are meghan, katie's new kid and my little sis, and maren, my kid! we just had a pledge family bonding session on saturday, and we played taboo, which is one of the greatest games ever. here are some choice quotes from our game, taken from my profile to a more permanent location...

so yeah, our family's been getting pretty close. and since i know maren's reading this, i'll use this opportunity to sing her praises :) i love her! she's a talented journalist, and one of the funniest people i know. i added her online journal to my list of links, so you can check out her writing, it's provided me with a lot of entertainment lately. and outside of my family, i've been hanging out with my favorite juniors, katie, emily, and kat. we always have weird conversations in steak 'n shake together. and emily, katie, and i went to the lincoln park zoo one weekend! i love doing random stuff like that. so alpha chi's doing well, i think i'll have a good time living there next year.

nstv: i just had my last shoot this weekend, which is kind of sad, but there's still a lot to look forward to. we're going to milwaukee one weekend, and the premiere's on may 30th! there's still time for more bonding. and i love the people, so the 6-hour shoots just fly by. dan aukes and i are secret lovers, and since devon ("devo") and i have similar names, people have started calling him "dweevon" and me "tweevo." and the show is going to be hilarious, so you all should come (my family is!).
