whoa, i just realized that i wrote the longest and most boring blog of all time. i didn't even write about anything fun, it was just a long vent of my classes frustration. remember when i used to update my blog everyday and it was weird and random? i need to get back to that, if only i had the time. but here's a recap of the interesting things in my life, mv-style:

-- pledge mom week was a lot of work, but so much fun. i definitely spoiled my kid maren, with lots of food, an a cappella serenade, and a bedtime story from nafis. our pledge family is the biggest and best now :)
-- nstv finished shooting this quarter, but next quarter's going to be insane, trying to get the video done. i love the nstv people, they even make the long shoots fun. i actually came to be an extra several times, and usually ended up fighting with nafis over something ("why can't you ever let me have the spotlight??" "the cookies are mine, fatty!")
-- danceworks, besides the never-ending rehearsals, is pretty enjoyable, though i end up with a lot of bruises from partnering. but i do my fair share of beating. during one rehearsal, i repeatedly kicked and maimed my partners, though of course, it was unintentional ;) but it's going well, i can't wait for opening night on friday!
-- this friday was tacky prom! and i went with three of the best dates ever, anna, allison, and nafis (meghan was in minnesota visiting jake, so she missed out). it was fantastic, dancing to good 80s music, seeing allison dressed like a hooker, and wearing drag-queen eye makeup. of course, nafis went all out, dressing in his three-piece denim suit with the "bling bling" (which i later stole) and putting his hair in dozens of little ponytails. as always, he was the hit of the party. when i told the girls in my house that i was bringing him, they all said, "oh, that guy from formal?!?! i'm so excited!" because no one can compete with nafis when it comes to dancing. i'm tired just thinking about it. anyway, tacky prom is such a good idea, and i'm so glad that i decided to go this year.

that's about all the fun that's been going on for me, now it's time for the three weeks from HELL! but, then it's off to the cayman islands with my family! yay for sun and relaxation!
