i'm at work once again, not doing anything, so it's time for an update...
- two weekends ago, meredith and some kd girls were in london, so i met up with them and saw the most expensive movie ever: charlie's angels for 10.50, which is like $17-18. but it was good, and i got to hang out with some kids from school!
- last weekend, both lisa and suz came to visit! my aunt, uncle, and cousin were all in germany, so lisa and suz stayed with me in the flat. we did some touristy stuff, going to the tower of london and big ben, and a lot of shopping. met up with diane, who's also in london, at harrod's, but then lost her when we were supposed to meet at a club that night. i'm not used to the clubbing scene, so i got a little freaked out by the creepy guys. but all in all, it was a great weekend. i'm not going to be able to visit lisa in paris before she leaves, so at least i got to see her once this summer. suz is going to be at oxford until mid-august, so she'll be visiting again. we're going to the sing-along sound of music this friday, and suz is trying to figure out how to dress as "the curtains." i don't think i'm going to go that far, though matthias says that he has some liederhosen that i could borrow :)
- work is ok, since i haven't been doing much, they let me go to client meetings and research groups. on thursday, i get to go to a shoot for macleans toothpaste. on friday, i'm going to a grocery store to tape some consumer interviews about nestle yogurt (whee!), but the store manager hasn't called me back and i'll probably get kicked out. oh well, it's something to do at least for a little while. and i'm meeting someone from the tv department tomorrow, so hopefully i'll be allowed to work in that department soon.

miss you all! i can definitely tell that i'm going to be really homesick, especially around thanksgiving and christmas time. tina wins the award for best correspondent, since she wrote me an actual letter (i'm ignoring the fact that she probably did it because she was bored at work). hope you all are doing well!
