my mom has been working for the past two years on the first vietnamese-american exhibit at the smithsonian, and it opens this saturday, january 20. the exhibit celebrates 30 years of vietnamese-american challenges, contributions, and accomplishments in the US, and i encourage those of you in dc to see it. it will be in dc until april 1, when it will start traveling around the country for three years. if you would like more information, the website is www.vietam.org.
