you are the devil, we are the d

last night was the cast and crew screening of "pick of destiny," and i had four tickets, so i took matt, mer, and ross. it was rocking, of course, and it was nice to see all the work people again. the movie is the same as we left it, but liam pointed out that we were able to appreciate it again after having stepped away from it for a while.

after seeing all my bosses from editorial, mer noted that they don't seem like the most glamorous people. i think the word "dorky" might have even been used. but what do you expect from editors? these are the people who devote their lives to working in front of an AVID or splicing film. they're often pale, sleep-deprived, and devoid of social lives. but that being said, the editorial office was the loudest group at the screening, and we were the first to start cheering. plus, we were more fun than the people who talked non-stop about the industry and texted on their blackberries until the movie started (i.e. the kid actors in the row in front of us). i'd much rather be with the nerdy crew than have to deal with hollywood types.

anyway, go see the movie on november 22nd! i will admit it's a bit silly sometimes with an infantile sense of humor, but i promise that the music will not disappoint.

"now go, my son, and rock!"
