ho hum

23 is BORING! why can't i stay 22 forever? agh.

anyway, today is my 23rd birthday. today has been pretty chill, just hanging out with the family since i got back to virginia yesterday. we celebrated in LA on sunday, with a party in a park by our apartment. we had lots of food, there were loads of things to play (croquet, basketball, tennis, frisbee, and a kids' jungle gym), and it was 80 degrees and sunny, so it was pretty perfect. then we played with matt's new nintendo wii, which is awesome and might be the downfall of productivity in our apartment.

HOWEVER, i did finally get a job today! one of the assistant editors from X3 called me yesterday and we set up an interview for next week. but after only a few hours, he called me back and said that they somehow conducted the interview without me and decided to offer me the job since they all sort of knew me from fox. so yeah, if i accept it, i start work next wednesday! it'll be good to get a paycheck again.
