today, we got the holiday letter from our aunt, uncle, and manuel/"boy" in germany. here's the section entitled, "quotable quotes from the little boy":

"babies eat boobies, boy eats... arm" (first realization that life's quite unfair)

"boy is also a girl?" (first sign of sexual confusion?)

"papa works, boy works... mommy sleeps."

"boy has a yellow bum, mommy has a yellow bum, papa has a white bum" (first racist comment?)


what a funny kid. manuel is the cutest. i love how he refuses to call himself anything but "boy."
