today, i realized the true suckiness of living up on north campus, since we were hit with the first bad storm of the school year. i decided not to take my bike, since i would be soaked without an umbrella, but i was soaked anyway. what's the point of having an umbrella when the wind manages to sweep the rain under it? anyway, by the time i got to class, my pants were soaked up to the thigh, my feet were wet (i forgot that my sneakers aren't waterproof), and everything else was damp. and then i had to spend several more hours like that since nothing would dry. but oh well, at least classes are over now, and i'm back in my room, warm, dry, and in my pajamas. i think i'm set for the day, no need to go back into that torture outside.
