in the sun

- i have today off from work, which is my first saturday since i started this job. looks like i'll be spending it cleaning the apartment and doing all the errands that have piled up. but i'm driving to thousand oaks tonight to see the jars of clay concert, so that should be fun. i'm excited to see brent's lighting, but i'm REALLY excited to see all the audience members singing with their eyes closed and their hands in the air.

- mv called me last night from vegas at 1:30, when i was dead asleep. i was so out of it that i thought that conversation was a dream, but apparently i agreed to sing in nicole's wedding. i haven't sung in forever. just goes to show that i will say anything to go back to sleep. they should have asked me to tape and edit the wedding video as well, because i probably would've said yes.

- in virginia, they're expecting their first big snowstorm of the year, and i'm thinking about going to the beach here. sometimes i still can't believe this is my life. i've been having a lot of out-of-body experiences lately, where all of a sudden i come back to my body and i have to remind myself of my name and who i am, or i catch my reflection and don't recognize myself. do any of you know what i'm talking about? does this happen to you?
