breakout
the last few days have been filled with so many fun random activities. on saturday, after dillo day festivities, we went late-night bowling again (i did not break 100 this time). here's ross and his jedi friends from minnesota using "the force" to win the game...

last night, a dozen of us played an impromptu game of "capture the flag" in the area between kresge and swift. we didn't realize that the playing ground was way too large until we had started the game. it took us forever to find the flags in the dark. the best part was that normal people were walking through the area, so we would creep them out because we were hiding in bushes and behind trees, trying to be stealthy, but not sketchy. i got the best compliment ever, when the guys said that i was like a ninja, because they couldn't see me at all when i was lurking in the shadows. i'm a ninja, how cool is that? :)
today, matt and sully had to go to the art institute for their painting class, so mer and i came along to help them with their assignments. they each had to choose a "mentor" painting and analyze it, so as snotty as it sounds, i had to stand there and talk about composition and brush strokes and all that crap. but at least i was able to help. matt chose a monet, so the impressionism course from london actually came in handy for that. and as usual, mer and i whipped out the feminist viewpoint when we were examining "american gothic" for sully's assignment. but it was kind of nice to do something cultural and intellectual, since i really feel like i haven't used my brain in the longest time. we might go to some more museums since we have nothing to do ever.
so let's see what other mischief i can get into this week...
