curses to incompetency. how is it that i've been at my job three weeks, and i don't have email set up, i can't get on the internet, and i still don't have an access card to get onto my floor? argh. i didn't get much editing done today since i was on the phone most of the time talking to four different IT people, none of whom knew how to help me. i really need to get these videos done quickly, especially since i got a package today from pennsylvania with footage for four more interviews, and i'll be shooting another ten in tampa next week. hey, at least if i have to work overtime, i get paid time and a half. and i'm probably going to put all of my earnings into buying a powerbook and ipod. yay for new toys!
