i just got back from my first business trip ever, and i am shattered (new favorite phrase from linda barker on the bbc's "changing rooms" and "house invaders"). we hit three cities in two days, and did a total of 13 video interviews (and i didn't understand half of the things that were said in them, i felt like an idiot). but there were some perks. everything was paid for using the company's corporate credit card, and i got the chance to call up my friends and say, "hey, guess what i'm doing? i'm lying sideways on my king-size bed in my suite at the doubletree hotel in boston watching one of my two tvs, what are you doing?" but it wasn't so much fun because i didn't have anyone to enjoy it with besides my co-worker.
anyway, it looks like i'm going to be very busy for the next few weeks, since i have to travel again to tape more interviews and i have to make sure that i edit and finish three videos every week. so i'd better get to bed, i have another day of work ahead of me tomorrow...
