whoops, haven't blogged in a while. what has been going on with me lately? on friday, i spent the entire night doing photography stuff for my media construction class. it was not as exciting as it sounds. on saturday, we saw THREE MOVIES! of course, we had to see spider-man, which was actually really good for an comic book/action movie. the dialogue was absolutely terrible, but the special effects and superhero-stuff was very cool. i was talking to nafis and we both want to be spider-people. we are now searching for these toy gloves that shoot silly string like web fluid. anyway, the movie was fun and had some good action, and tobey maguire and james franco are nice to look at :)
meghan, allison, and i have resolved to hold "classic movie" nights. these aren't really classics, but just movies that everyone has seen except for us. but it's really been for my benefit since meghan and allison have seen most of the movies we've rented so far. on saturday, we watched the usual suspects, and meghan made me watch my stepmother is an alien (it's not a classic, but whatever). last night, i saw my first full indiana jones movie, raiders of the lost ark. next up is close encounters of the third kind. i have a whole long list of movies that i want to see, and i hope i can make a dent in it this summer.
on sunday, i went with some of my achio sisters to paint clay boxes, which i haven't done since last year with the ya-yas. it was very relaxing, i really should take up art again. maybe i'll try to get in an art class next quarter. now is an exciting time, since amanda's coming here tomorrow! yay for visitors! everyone should come and see us, since you all are out of school now and we still have many more weeks to go. i would love to see you! anyway, that's about it from me, i have to go to class now with the professor who's just like mr. rogers. i hope everyone's doing well with finals and all that jazz :)
