yesterday was an active day, for once. we chose to battle the wind and rain to go to chicago, instead of staying inside like we would normally do. meghan and i had some terrible struggles with our umbrella, and my ears hurt from the wind whipping in them, but it was a good day. we did a little shopping (we got really bright, fun underwear!) and went to the ghirardelli's soda fountain. on the way back, we stopped at blockbuster's, where we decided that we're going to rent all the "classics" (from every time period) that everyone's seen but we haven't. it's better than watching our same movies over and over again. today, thankfully i don't have much homework, so we can relax. and meghan and i really need some good ol' meat, so we're going to clarke's for some delicious, bad-for-you cheeseburgers. weekends are fantastic, and the best part is the food.
