ok, housing is settled for next year, and it's not good news. we're living in elder, which is a good dorm, i guess, but it's pretty much the farthest up north you can go, and every single one of my classes will be in south campus. i wouldn't be so upset if it weren't for the location. it'll take me at least 20 minutes to get to class everyday, even longer to get to evanston, and during the winter, i'll freeze to death before i get there. the housing system has something wrong with it if people are about to riot to get into a dorm and half the people are upset by the outcome. i'm just going to go cry now and savor every moment that i have in a nice, southern dorm.
