agh! i'm so hyper! final speeches today in my public speaking class were so good! so for our final projects, we have to make a speech that is similar to something we would do in our future careers. this one guy did a cooking show, which was really good until he cut his finger. then we all were freaking out and he was starting to lose it ( at one point he said, "oh billy!" ), but he finished his speech and it turned out well. then one guy gave an acceptance speech for a lifetime achievement award, and after that, it was miss shelley's kindergarten class! we all sat on the floor in a circle while she taught us the letters, and we were so rowdy, but it was fun. one guy was the suck-up/show-off in the class, another guy was the one who had been held back a couple of times, and the rest of us were just restless six-year-olds. nafis asked to use the bathroom pass, but another girl was using it, so he had to wait. when the girl got back, miss shelley asked nafis if he wanted to use the pass, but he was like, "i don't need it anymore." and we all screamed, "EEEWWWWW!!!!!!" and got away from him. i hope my speech is as good as the ones we heard today : )
