i had the most spectacular exit from public speaking today.
so, i was walking out, and my shoes are especially slippery on the parkes hall floor, so my foot slipped and i fell on my side. luckily, no one was in the hall, and the people in the class just heard, "AGH!!!" *BAM*. it hurt like a mother. but i got up right away, looked back into the class and just said, "be careful, it's really slippery out here," and walked away. to make me feel better, this guy told me that i was like a gymnast because i just popped back up again. it was actually really funny and i still can't stop laughing, even though my knee and arm are messed-up. for some reason, i'm not embarrassed at all. i feel like ally mcbeal or kramer : )
