- nstv petitions are finally over, and now i'm at a loss for what to do with myself. i have all this free time and it feels strange. anyway, petitions went really well, and they were really quite fun. it was the most competitive year yet, with over 100 people coming out for acting/writing, and 30-something for crew. with so many people, there were some tough decisions to be made, but exec is really happy with the group this year. we had our first get-together on friday, and everyone seems to be pumped for this year. agh, i can't wait to start working!!!

- meghan has an italian boyfriend, alessio, in florence. she's living the study abroad dream. ("what??? i'm not ready to calculate inflation rates!!!")

- meredith and i signed up for dance marathon this week. it'll be an amazing experience, i just hope that i don't die...

- econ is like remedial math. i haven't done math in 5 years, but i don't need to re-learn how to make a graph.

- i was feeling anti-social yesterday so i didn't go to the free football game with everyone. it was good that i wasn't there though, since i got really nervous watching the game on tv. but even this non-fan realized that it was an amazing game, and our campus went absolutely nuts after we beat OSU. here's what espn had to say:
"They partied into the night long after Noah Herron's 1-yard touchdown run gave Northwestern a 33-27 upset of (No. 6 ESPN/USA Today, No. 7 AP) Ohio State on Saturday night, not even caring when the north goal post held firm. This party was 33 years in the making, and they weren't about to go home early."

now it's time to do some catch-up work. people like pouy may feel free to ask follow-up questions concerning my post.
