sooo busy... i'm so tired, but rush is over now! and we get our bids (if any) today! informals were good, the food was awesome and the themes were really cool. yesterday, i got called back to my top three (yay!) and then we had preference night. we went to each house for 70 minutes, and they would perform a skit for us and do a candle-lighting ceremony (i dripped hot wax on my finger, which hurt a lot, but i couldn't make a noise because it's all solemn), all to get us to choose their sorority. then we ranked those three last night and we hope to get bids today! i can't wait for all the nervousness and craziness with no sleep to be over. i think i'll be happy with whatever bid i get, and i'll probably pledge. the nice thing about rush and sororities at NU is that it's not the stereotypical thing at all. all the girls are really nice and it's not catty or snobby. i had a lot of really good conversations with people for the past couple of days. thanks for making me do it, mv and mommy! now it's naptime again and then back to homework.
