last night was great, filled with good food, family (not my own), and friends. zach, jamie, and i went with the mommies to suzanne's aunt's and uncle's house in wilmette for dinner. suzanne's cousin, lauren, came to see me in "the nutcracker," so she was all excited to show me her new toe shoes : ) suz's other cousin, marissa, who's four, is absolutely crazy. at times, she sounds like an alien and she's even moodier than amanda! during dessert, her conversation with her dad went something like this:
marissa: daddy, can i have some pie?
dad: here's your pie-
marissa: NO!!!! I DON'T WANT PIE!!!!!!
she also liked to boss us around a lot (she yelled at zach a lot, and we didn't mind that), but she was so funny. so the night was nice and entertaining, and the food was great. i love friends from home and their relatives!
