yay! last weekend was great. i went home friday afternoon, and then mv and i just kind of hung out around the house. i love how you can go home after being away for a long time, and it still feels like you belong and you're totally comfortable. i got to eat lots of good food, sleep in my own bed, play with picabo, and do stuff with mv.
on saturday, we went to see crossroads, which was actually better than i expected. of course, at some points, it was a little ridiculous since they tried to smush all these serious issues into it, but it was ok. then, that night, we went to see the kirov ballet's "sleeping beauty," which was great, but three and a half hours long! i had never seen it live before, though, so i was really excited, as mv was constantly nodding off. on sunday, i slept some more, ate some more, and then i had to head home : ( now i feel kind of blah, like my vacation's over, but it's just over a month until spring break! now, i have loads of work so i'd better get started...
