yay!!! i'm at home! it's so nice..... on friday, i got home, ate yummy peking duck and decorated our tree (which had been sitting around for a week waiting for me to decorate it). yesterday, i sat around for most of the day (it's so great not to have work to worry about) and then we went to a family dinner and mv and i went to the kennedy center to see dance theater of harlem. they're very cool, i went to see them once with lisa; they dance a lot with their hips and they put so much soul into what they do. then today we had dim sum, which i had been craving for weeks, and then i did some more extensive sitting. now everyone's gone to bed because they have work tomorrow and i'm trying to figure out what i'm going to do. of course, everyone wants me to run all these errands for them since i'm home, but i also want to visit jefferson to see people. but it seems that no one else is home from college except for me so it would just be me at school. i might wait until later to visit with other people, i dunno. since i have so much to do, i'd better go to bed now so i can get up early. but i'm still glad to be home!

oh, funny story... my dad just got this sweater and he was trying to figure out whether or not he should keep it. so since my sister's the fashion consultant of our family, he went out to ask her opinion. i was wrapping presents, and this is all i heard:
my dad: "do you like this sweater?"
mv: "daddy, put on some pants!"
he had gone out into the family room wearing just his sweater and his underwear : ). my family's so funny.
